Marie and Keith got married this past Saturday in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Fox Ridge State Park, and I believe I speak for everyone involved when I say…..boy , was it cold!
Seriously though, it was a wonderful wedding and I wish Marie & Keith all the best in their new life together. Here are just a few quick edits from their day:

Wow…time has flown by and I’ve been rather lax about posting on the blog. Christy & Ben were married on March 8th in an intimate celebration held at the church her grandfather used to minister at. It was a wonderful wedding and I’ve got to give lots of praise to Christy and her mom, who basically did everything themselves including making the adorable cupcake wedding cake to creating a custom tie for the ring bearer. The wedding was beautiful and I’m so glad they chose to share their day with me! My husband, Erik, also came along, as I’m trying him out as another second photographer, and he snagged some really great shots as well. So here are a several of my favorites from the day….

and some of Erik’s best:

Hi all! Just thought I’d let you all know that I recently added a dedicated business cell phone number. I just find myself traveling so much that the landline just isn’t cutting it anymore and this way I can be reached wherever I may be traveling. The new number is: 217.979.3913
Will be posting more pictures soon!

Hello there sports fans. I’m back from my travels to sunny southern California…kinda. I was visiting my brother and SIL , both who are so totally awesome, and it was quite the experience. I have never been out there before, never seen the Pacific so Josh & Abbie took me all around and showed me the sites like the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, the Hollywood sign, Santa Monica Pier, all the sites I’ve wanted to see since I was 13 and devouring every People and US Weekly I could get my hands on. So cool.
So…California had lovely weather, and then I flew back into Columbus last night and was greeted with the news that we were about to be pounded with snow. Yay. Where I am in Ohio didn’t get any snow, but apparently we did get a lot back in Champaign, so I might be hanging out here in Ohio for a bit longer until the roads clear up and I can go back home.
Anyway, thanks again Josh & Abbie for having me! I had so much fun!
my foot in the Pacific and my pant leg, also in the Pacific….

Did you know that dragons are indigenous to southern California? Just make sure you watch where you sit.

Cassidy & Ken were married this past weekend in Rochester Hills, MI. Cassidy is a close friend of my sister-in-law, Heidi, so this was another special wedding for me. It was also fun because my husband Erik got to be their videographer so I got to work with him, which I don’t get to do very often anymore. Anyway, congrats to you both and thanks for including Erik and myself in your celebration! We’re so happy for you and wish you the best of luck as you start your life together.:) Ok! Enough Hallmark and on to the pictures….’cause let’s face it, that’s why you’re really here.;)

and here’s one that I liked of my SIL, Heidi and her boyfriend, Mike…

Heather & Mike are married!!! This was a particularly special wedding for me as Heather & Mike are close friends of my brother and my sister-in-law, and have been a big part of their lives since they met at college, so it was really a privilege that they had me photograph their wedding. It was also exciting because the wedding was held in downtown Philly at Tenth Presbyterian and the beautiful Stotesbury mansion, and it was just a fun change of pace from what I’m used to. So, thank you Heather and Mike for including me in your wedding weekend, and congratulations! I’m so happy for you both! And here are a few quick edits from your day….

and just cause it makes me laugh…here’s one of my brother and sister-in-law…

I had my last engagement session of 2007 today, and boy was it chilly! Crystal & Josh wanted outdoor photos taken before Christmas, so out we went! We decided on Downtown Champaign and I had never done an engagement session down there before, so it was pretty exciting! The streets and stores were all lit up (eventually) with Christmas lights and there’s a big, beautiful Christmas tree on the corner of Neil and Church. I think my favorite shots though were in front of the Victoria Theatre. Thanks again to the kind employee who offered to turn on the lights early so I could get my shot. You are awesome.:) Anyway, thanks again Crystal and Josh! Here are a few quick edits I threw together:
